01 – Adaptive MTB Intro Clinic – Perth Hills (2hrs)

$120.00

An Australian-first program for beginners living with a disability who want to go off-road in a healthy and safe nature-based environment!

The introductory clinic started off in 2018 as a free program thanks to the Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries and Healthway (West Australia). The program has now moved into a full 2 hour service to members. We will introduce you to the sport and nature, boost your confidence and meet other like-minded riders.

Companions, carers, friends or family are welcome to attend at no cost (must be a registered member). They are welcome also to ride with the participant and coaches, but they will need to BYO bike, have their own insurance cover organised and be competent on riding basic mountain bike trails. Full details in the participant package below.

Caution: BTB will not provide manual handling with transfers unless an initial consultation has been conducted prior to the intro clinic.

Break the Boundary Inc. strongly suggests that participants have their own private insurance cover (3rd party and injury) before attending. Please read the Participant Package for more details on obtaining a free trial.

PLEASE NOTE: if you have not completed steps 1 and 2 of our program here, then this booking will not be processed.

NDIS Participants: we accept payment from self managed and plan managed participants who have a component of community participation, recreation or similar, in their plan. If you require an ‘invoice’, please select “Bank Transfer” during checkout for a receipt and submit to your coordinator or upload to the NDIS portal. Bookings will only be confirmed once payments are made prior to the session. Cash payment is not accepted on the day.

Once you have registered we will contact you to confirm details.

Please download and read the participant information package for full details.
